Text Box: The Maya Summer Language Project is pleased to announce an introductory language course in Q’anjob’al Language and Grammar.  This course is open to all and is especially designed for the children of native Q’anjob’al speakers living in the U.S. who want a brief introduction to their ancestral language.  It may also be useful for teachers, travelers, community workers and other people interested in connecting with an indigenous language and world view.  Curriculum consists of phonology, vocabulary and simple phrases, sentences and dialogue.  Open for registration on May 27, 2008.  Space is limited, so register early.
